If you haven’t heard that our LULU ROSES are the most beautiful preserved roses in the world… you´re late to the rose party! Today we´ll tell you about our latest development in our floral art Dare to bloom Grand finale! And how our LULU Roses and Naranjo Roses bloomed with the finalist participants’ creations.
As if our eternal roses weren’t pretty enough… We had three challenges that our dearest finalist participants had to endure, and one of them was with our stunning fresh cut roses and tinted prestige collection. They made their floral arrangements bloom in the most beautiful way by combining a series of different colors as well as greenery to fill their floral arrangements and have an overall brilliant artistic design.
We´re here to tell you all about the Grand Finale that was held in Miami, the city of the sun. Our Finale was held in our partner’s location Logiztik Alliance. Where the sunset, lake, and palm trees were the perfect setting, making it even more exciting for our competitors as it was an adrenaline rush for everyone! Exciting live music was played to pump up our participants’ emotions, by our wonderful DJ Forastero. This floral art competition destination has been very surprising. Because as you all know, the winners from DALLAS, NYC, LA and MIAMI, were competing for the grand prize: a trip all expenses paid to visit Naranjos and Lulu farms and to explore the magnificent city of Quito.
Our Finalists Bethany from Dallas (First Choice floral), Rachel Clark from NYC (Van Vliet NY), Natieka Green from Miami (Field of flowers), and Laihla Akhtari from LA (Ecuador Op), had to go through 3 challenges. The challenges were created so that each design had the perfect ingredient of creativity and originality. Their designs were created for romantic Christmas dinner for a couple getting engaged, hand-tied bouquets, and wearable pieces.
This year’s floral art competition was designed to impulse and boost the use of LULU Eternal Roses for any type of floral arrangement or decoration! Given their versatility. Our exclusive panel of Judges was the cherry on the cake of this wonderful event. Special thanks to Anthony Maslo, IG @theboywhocriedflowers, Deborah de la Flor, IG @deborahdelaflor, and Roger Panta, IG @rogerpanta.

Rumi & Sadies Wholesale Floral Supply and Gifts started out as a passion project in the midst of the pandemic for Nurse Sadie who sought out a channel for her creativity.
Having served extensively as a nurse and nursing clinical educator, she decided to take a risk by resigning from the health care industry at Kaiser Permanente to pursue a life long dream of entrepreneurship, with a focus on creating beautiful spaces. “Long Before pursuing a career in healthcare, dreamed of one day owning my own business. I envisioned creating beautiful spaces.
As it turned out, I have become a facilitator to what I envisioned. It is incredibly fulfilling to have the ability to continue to serve my community by supplying and scaling small businessess with unique floral vessels and gift items at incredibly competitive prices,” states.

“Entrepreneurship is really quite dynamic. One can create a business from multiple realms that they are passionate about. The adage : ‘Do what you love and you will never have to work a day in your life,’ definitely holds true. It has been a lot of fun so far. It is my hope that I can plant the seeds of entrepreneurship and inspire as many as I can along the way.”
Natieka Green is the Owner and Principal Designer at The Soirèe Aesthetic Floral Design and Event Styling, a boutique floral design studio specializing in bespoke arrangements.
While her clients know and love her for her dreamy, ethereal bohemian designs and use of dried and preserved stems, Natieka’s favorite design style meets at the intersection of luxe and fine art and portrays sophisticated, refined ostentation. She inherited her love of flowers from her late maternal grandmother who had the most beautiful flower garden in the entire parish of Trelawny, Jamaica.
Tourists would come from the main ports of Ocho Rios, Negril, and Montego Bay to the countryside of Trelawny to see Mrs. Nini’s beautiful flowers, particularly her showstopping gladiolus. Miss Green’s academic and professional background is in Allied Health.
Although her corporate career in health and sales was flourishing, she identified the unmet internal need to do something creative and, from there, she began to hone her floral skills. While she has had a wealth of excellent formal training, much of her development has come from old fashioned self practice.
Those skills have allowed her to freelance and, eventually, open her own studio in 2018.
Throughout her time as an entrepreneur, Natieka has worked with clients from Getty Images to the Haig Club Whiskey brand. She is excited for the future and continuing to beautify her clients’ events and lives through The Soirèe Aesthetic.
